Privacy Policy

Fix Ya Ride, Inc. ("we", "us") runs the Fix Ya Ride and Mehcha marketplace. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it and the choices you have.

We collect information you give us and information created when you use the Platform.

• Account details: name, email, phone number and password (handled by Firebase Authentication).
• Vehicle details you add, and the services and notes you request.
• Addresses you enter, and the location of a mechanic while on a job.
• Messages sent through the Platform and photos you upload.
• For mechanics and garage owners: identity verification, background check results, licenses, certifications and insurance documents.
• Payment details, which are collected and stored by Stripe; we keep only the card brand, last four digits and expiry.
• Device and usage data, such as IP address, browser, pages viewed and taps, collected with Firebase Analytics.

We use your information to run your account, match and schedule jobs, process payments and payouts, keep the Platform safe, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, send service messages, improve the Platform, and meet legal duties.

Customers and mechanics see what they need to complete a job, such as names, the vehicle, the address and the mechanic's live location during the job. We share information with service providers who work for us, such as Stripe for payments, Google Firebase for authentication, messaging and analytics, and identity and background check vendors. We may disclose information to comply with law or protect safety. We do not sell your personal information.

We keep location data for 90 days and chat messages for 3 years, then delete them. Records we must keep for payments, tax or a dispute may be kept longer.

We send marketing email and text messages only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time in your settings or by following the instructions in the message. Messages about your bookings are always sent.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is completely secure.

You can view and update your profile in your settings. To ask for a copy of your information, or to have it corrected or deleted, email support@fixyaride.com. We may need to keep some information as the law requires.

The Platform is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

When we update this policy we change the version number and effective date above, and ask you to review and accept the new version.
